Consultant Dietititian / Dietician and Diet Technicians/ DTR - Full time, Part time, Contract

Innovations Services is looking for experienced Registered and Licensed Dietitians and Registered Dietetic Technicians to join our growing team. We have openings for both Consultant Dietitians and DTRs in the Cleveland, Akron and Columbus Ohio areas for Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Communities.
Pay is competitive (hourly based on experience)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide ongoing nutrition support to staff and residents
- Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments after reviewing documents and speaking with resident, family and the healthcare team.
- Implement dietary care plans
- Provide nutrition consultation to residents, staff and families on nutrition principles, diet modifications and any risks/concerns Inspect kitchen and dietary service areas to ensure compliance with food code regulations
- Ensure prescribed diets are followed and meet daily nutrition need requirements. This includes therapeutic and texture modifications
- Review menus for nutritional adequacy Qualifications and Skills...
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently and with members of the healthcare team
- Must have ability to effectively communicate with residents and/ or their families RDs
- Must be licensed with the State of Ohio in Dietetics Long Term Care
- Experience with a comprehensive knowledge of Section K on MDS
- Completing resident/patient assessments and Care Plans is a plus
- Knowledge of menu requirements
- Knowledge of State and Federal Guidelines
