The ODA President's Award recognizes outstanding and sustained leadership and personal contributions to ODA. Gretchen Robinson is most deserving of this honor based on her sustained dedication and exceptional service to the profession, ODA, ADA and her exemplary leadership in long term care. Gretchen served as ODA President, President-elect, Delegate, Chair and Chair-Elect of the Council on Professional Issues, Chair of the 2008 Strategic Planning Committee and past chair of the Ohio Consultant Dietitians in Health Care Facilities DPG. Gretchen has also served as Chair on multiple ADA committees and a DPG and contributes to countless task forces and appointments. Gretchen's extraordinary vision and trendsetter approach creates innovative, results-oriented solutions to challenges facing both the profession and long term care. Gretchen often sets standards for high quality care for the elderly and educates ODA members on issues vital to quality long term care. A former ADA Medallion winner, Gretchen's exemplary leadership, enthusiasm and encouragement assure dietitians and dietetic technicians will remain on the cutting edge of practice. Gretchen's outstanding contributions to ODA are greatly appreciated.
