Erin Ogden is a policy associate for federal child nutrition programs at the Center for Science in the Public Interest in Washington, DC. She is passionate about advocacy and nutrition policy, and demonstrates this through her role as GCAND’s Legislation and Public Policy Chair, as well as her membership within coalitions supporting a healthier Cleveland and healthy food access nationwide. As a preceptor for two Cleveland dietetic internships, Erin encourages her interns to become advocates too. Erin completed her dietetic internship at the Cleveland VA Medical System. Her MS and BS in nutrition degrees are from Case Western Reserve University and Miami University, respectively. She is recently published within the journal, Nicotine and Tobacco Research, regarding food pantries as feasible environments for smoking cessation services.
