Cindy Hamilton

Cindy Hamilton is the Senior Director for the Center for Human Nutrition of the Cleveland Clinic serving its main campus and 9 regional hospitals which includes over 120 registered dietitians and dietetic technicians registered. She earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio University and her graduate degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio. Cindy spent many years as a nutrition support clinician managing patients requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition and home parenteral nutrition. She has authored or coauthored many articles and book chapters, is the editor of the Nutrition-Focused Physical Exam Illustrated Handbook (available through ASPEN) and co-edited a video on NFPE. Additionally, Cindy has given national and local presentations on various aspects of nutrition support, malnutrition and leadership. Throughout her career she has served in various leadership roles with the DPGs-Dietitians in Nutrition Support and Clinical Nutrition Management and with the Ohio Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She is the recipient of the Academy’s Award for Excellence in Management Practice (2012), ASPEN’s Distinguished Nutrition Support Dietitian Service Award (2015), the DNS Distinguished Service Award (2014) and the Ohio Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition Member of the Year Award (2006). Cindy has also served in various capacities with ASPEN and currently serves on their Board of Directors.  

Sue Konek

Susan Konek has been a leader in Clinical Nutrition Management in pediatric acute care settings for over 25 years. In 2015, she retired from her position as Director of Clinical Nutrition at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she led a group of over 60 pediatric RDNs and NDTRs, as they provided quality nutrition care to infants, children and adolescents in this tertiary, academic organization. In this role, Sue also supported the operation of the Formula Room and Human Milk Lab. Since retiring, she has worked in clinical management on a part time basis and as a consultant. Sue is now a consultant and trainer with the Columbus State Community College Formula/Human Milk Technician Certification Program. She has served the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as President of the Delaware Affiliate, Chair of the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group (PNPG) and member of the House of Delegates. She has been a member of the Academy Quality Management Committee and the Executive Committee of the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group. She is Co-Editor of the 2019 revision of Pediatric Nutrition in Clinical Nutrition, 5th Edition. Most recently, Sue has served PNPG as Co-Chair for the 2019 Academy Dietitians in Nutrition Support/Pediatric Nutrition Practice Groups Joint Symposium. Sue is the recipient of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics - Excellence in Practice Award for Management.

Courtney Morabito

Courtney Morabito is the Operations Supervisor for Cincinnati Public Schools Student Dining department. She is responsible for overseeing the operations and service of over 60,000 meals each day at 65 schools.  She manages the regulatory meal compliance as well as hiring, staffing, training, and discipline of the food service employees.

She has served on the Ohio SNA Board of Directors Executive Committee as Nutrition Chair since 2017.

This is Courtney’s ninth year in school food service. Before joining the district, she had worked as Nutrition Coordinator at Milford Exempted Village Schools where they contractually managed 3 other school districts.  Most recently, she was the Food Service Director at Indian Hill & Mariemont Schools in Cincinnati.

Courtney has a Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Eastern Kentucky University. She graduated cum laude with her Master’s in Business Administration from University of Cincinnati in 2019.  She is also a credentialed School Nutrition Specialist through the School Nutrition Association. She resides with her husband Vincenzo, 2 year old son Giovanni, 7 month old daughter Vera, and two dogs.

Tammy Randall

Tammy Randall, a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified diabetes educator, is a full time faculty member at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She teaches NTRN 359/459: Diabetes Prevention and Management and is also the Director of the MS in Public Health Nutrition Dietetic Internship which provides students the opportunity to complete their practical hours needed to sit for the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist exam while completing a graduate degree.

Before joining the faculty at Case, Tammy held roles in clinical as well as community settings. She was a diabetes educator for the Cleveland Clinic’s Endocrinology and Metabolism Institute, Director of Education at the Diabetes Partnership of Cleveland, and an Extension Educator for the Ohio State University Cooperative Extension Service.

Tammy is active in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, currently serving on the Honors Committee. She has also held roles on Board of Directors as a member of the House of Delegates Leadership Team, Chair of the Academy’s Member Value Committee, a member of the Academy Positions Committee, Evidence Based Practice Committee, Council on Future Practice and Delegate from Ohio. She is also a former President of both the Greater Cleveland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
