Maggie Huey is a current pediatric dietitian at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2018 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nutrition also from the University of Cincinnati. She is the current President of the Greater Cincinnati Dietetic Association and has served GCDA in past years as membership chair, journal club chair, and fundraising chair. She is also involved in the Academy’s Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group as their Pediatric Subunit Chair. Within Cincinnati Children’s, Maggie serves as the Nutrition Therapy Education Council Chair and actively participate as a member of the Weight Management Education Council. Although Maggie’s career has primarily focused on weight management in the setting of obstructive sleep apnea and severe asthma, she has also gained experience in the rheumatology, colorectal , complex care, and bariatrics specialties.
