Michelle Palumbo was awarded an Associate’s Degree (Applied Science in Dietetic Technology) from Cuyahoga Community College (2001). Michelle partners with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s Center for Human Nutrition (21 years) specializing in Heart Failure and Cardiovascular Care. Michelle currently serves as the NDTR representative to the ACEND Board of Directors. Michelle has vision for the NDTR Standards of Practice and practically supports professional NDTR advancement by developing proposals for both clinical and management career ladders. She advocates for continued development of clinical skills to further support the collaboration between RDN's and NDTR's, optimizing Medical Nutrition Therapy for hospitalized adult patients. She is currently working on a proposal to train NDTR's to perform indirect Calorimetry in the Intensive Care Units.
