Meghan McNeill for Secretary

I am honored to have served on the Greater Cincinnati Dietetic Association board for almost five years. In my first role, I assisted in the organizing and planning of district member meetings. After this role, I was elected to serve as the GCDA President, where I led our district through a successful year of networking and professional development. Through several fundraising mechanisms during my year as president, GCDA’s district was able to donate a substantial amount of money to the 2019 Ohio Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Conference Sponsor A Student Initiative. In addition to the general roles of serving as president, GCDA was also able to successfully collaborate with the Dayton Dietetic Association to present Super CEU Saturday, a symposium offering 4 CEUs to attendees.

I am grateful for my experience on the GCDA board and appreciate the professional growth that I have experienced in these roles. In my time serving on the board, I have ensured that the energy and ideas I contribute to membership events best serve the dietetic professions in our district. I would like to serve on the Ohio Academy and Dietetic Board to expand my involvement in dietetic leadership to the state level and continue to help create engaging and educational opportunities to help advance our profession.
